My grandad made a bookplate for all his children and grandchildren. This picture is the mirrored version of his wood engraved design. When he had finished this one he wanted to try a wood engraved portrait and asked for a favourite composer. So out of a Dover score of the complete symphonies of Brahms, I took his portrait and he made me another ex libris.
